PENGARUH PILATES EXERCISE TERHADAP PENINGKATAN ACTIVITY DAILY LIVING (ADL) PADA LANJUT USIA DI PUSKESMAS BETUNGAN KOTA BENGKULU
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang :Â Proses penuaan, perubahan fisik, fisiologis, psikologis, dan sosial dapat memengaruhi kemampuan untuk mandiri dalam menjalani aktivitas sehari-hari, terdapat terapi nonfarmakologi yang aman dan tidak terlalu berisiko bagi lansia, yaitu Pilates Exercise. Masalah penelitian adalah masih banyaknya Activity Daily Living (ADL) yang kurang pada lanjut usia di Puskesmas Betungan Kota Bengkulu. Tujuan penelitian adalah diketahui pengaruh Pilates Exercise terhadap peningkatan Activity Daily Living (ADL) pada lanjut usia di Puskesmas Betungan Kota Bengkulu.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre experimental dengan pendekatan pre test-post test one group design. Populasi sebanyak 794 orang dan sampel sebanyak 10 orang. Jenis data penelitian adalah data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan statistik uji paired t-test.
Hasil : Hasil penelitian ini adalah nilai rata-rata Activity Daily Living (ADL) pada lanjut usia sebelum Pilates Exercise di Puskesmas Betungan Kota Bengkulu, dengan nilai 88,50. Nilai rata-rata Activity Daily Living (ADL) pada lanjut usia setelah Pilates Exercise di Puskesmas Betungan Kota Bengkulu, dengan nilai 93,00. Ada pengaruh Pilates Exercise terhadap peningkatan Activity Daily Living (ADL) pada lanjut usia di Puskesmas Betungan Kota Bengkulu dengan r value = 0,004, berarti < 0,05 (α).
Saran : Bagi Puskesmas Betungan Kota Bengkulu, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dijadikan dasar untuk membuat kegiatan Pilates Exercise sebagai kegiatan rutin dalam kegiatan prolanis dan pelayanan pada lanjut usia di Puskesmas Betungan Kota Bengkulu, pihak Puskesmas juga dapat membuat kegiatan Pilates Exercise dalam bentuk benner ataupun lembar bolak balik sehingga bisa disebarkan kepada pasien yang berkunjung ke Puskesmas.

ABSTRACT
Background : The aging process, physical, physiological, psychological and social changes can affect the ability to be independent in carrying out daily activities. There is a non-pharmacological therapy that is safe and not too risky for the elderly, namely Pilates Exercise. The research problem is that there are still many Activity Daily Living (ADL) which are lacking in the elderly at the Betungan Health Center, Bengkulu City. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of Pilates Exercise on increasing Activity Daily Living (ADL) in the elderly at the Betungan Health Center, Bengkulu City.
Methods : This study used quantitative research with the type of pre-experimental research with a pre-test-post-test one group design approach. The population is 794 people and the sample is 10 people. The types of research data are primary and secondary data. Data analysis in this study used paired t-test statistics.
Results : The results of this study are the average value of Activity Daily Living (ADL) in the elderly before Pilates Exercise at the Betungan Health Center in Bengkulu City, with a value of 88.50. The average value of Activity Daily Living (ADL) in the elderly after Pilates Exercise at the Betungan Health Center in Bengkulu City, with a value of 93.00. There is an effect of Pilates Exercise on increasing Activity Daily Living (ADL) in the elderly at the Betungan Health Center in Bengkulu City with P-value = 0.004, meaning <0.05 (α).
Conclusion : For the Betungan Health Center in Bengkulu City, it is hoped that the results of this research will serve as the basis for making Pilates Exercise activities as a routine activity in prolanis activities and services for the elderly at the Betungan Health Center in Bengkulu City, the Puskesmas can also make Pilates Exercise activities in the form of banners or alternating sheets so that can be distributed to patients who visit the health center..
