HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY DAN TRAIT MINDFULNESS TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS LANJUT USIA DI SEKOLAH LANSIA CEMPAKA SMART BENGKULU

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Latar belakang: Proses menua akan mengakibatkan penurunan kapasitas fungsional tubuh, sehingga muncul asumsi masyarakat lansia tidak mampu melakukan pekerjaan, akhirnya mereka mengurangi keterlibatan lansia dalam sebuah kegiatan (Ageisme). Bila tidak diatasi akan berdampak pada menurunnya self efficacy dan trait mindfulness pada lansia, jika hal tersebut terjadi maka akan memengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis lansia. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dan trait mindfulness terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis lanjut usia di Sekolah Lansia Cempaka SMART BengkuluPenelitian menggunakan

Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional.

Hasil Menunjukkan nilai ? value = 0.000 pada variabel hubungan self efficacy terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis lanjut usia dan nilai ? value = 0.002 pada variabel hubungan trait mindfulness terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis lanjut usia (? value = <0.005).

Kesimpulan Ada hubungan self efficacy dan trait mindfulness terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis lanjut usia di Sekolah Lansia Cempaka SMART Bengkulu. Kesejahteraan psikologis lansia perlu ditingkatkan dengan cara meningkatkan self efficacy dan trait mindfulness melalui kegiatan-kegiatan di Sekolah Lansia.

ABSTRACT

Background: The aging process will result in a decrease in the functional capacity of the body, so there is an assumption that the elderly community is unable to do work, eventually they reduce the involvement of the elderly in an activity (Ageism). If not overcome, it will have an impact on decreasing self efficacy and trait mindfulness in the elderly, if this happens it will affect the psychological well-being of the elderly. Research Objectives to determine the relationship between self efficacy and trait mindfulness on the psychological well-being of the elderly at the Cempaka Elderly School SMART BengkuluResearch using

Methods: Quantitative research type with a cross sectional approach.

Results: showed a ? value = 0.000 on the relationship variable of self efficacy to elderly psychological well-being and a ? value = 0.002 on the relationship variable of trait mindfulness to elderly psychological well-being (? value = &lt;0.005).

Conclusion: There is a relationship between self efficacy and trait mindfulness on the psychological well-being of the elderly at the Cempaka SMART Bengkulu Elderly School. The psychological well-being of the elderly needs to be improved by increasing self efficacy and trait mindfulness through activities at the Elderly School.
